Nordveld securely connects to financial sources via Tink
Nordveld uses an API from Tink to securely route bank information to your spreadsheet. We chose Tink because it’s Europe’s most robust open banking platform – with the broadest, deepest connectivity and most powerful and reliable services that create value out of the financial data.
Tink is an FSA-regulated fintech company. Tink's open banking platform lets you connect securely to over 2500 European banks and institutions.
Nordveld does not see or store any bank credentials.
Credentials are encrypted in your browser and passed directly to Tink. Tink provides a read-only token granting Nordveld’s servers access to customer transactions. This access is used to import bank data into your spreadsheet. Nordveld does not store or log this sensitive data.
Nordveld supports 2-Step verification.
Nordveld’s authentication system is built around Google because Google has best-in-class security. Customers use OAuth2 with their Google account into Nordveld. We encourage all customers to make use of Google’s multi-factor authentication.
Google: "When you create a file on Google Docs, Sheets, & Slides and share it, it is stored securely in our world-class data centers. Data is encrypted in-transit and at-rest. If you choose to access these files offline, we store this info on your device."
